 I chose this linen to stitch a sampler called Asenath Whitcomb 1819 (Carriage House Samplings) This is an early Shaker sampler. It is the perfect colour for a subtle aged look and the 40 count is wonderful to create the letters of the sampler with very precise finish that you can achieve with this scale of stitching and this make the letters look almost like a piece of printed text like the Ackworth samplers.This linen has a lovely natural feel of an antique sampler which will look lovely when the sampler is completed! I am very excited to start this sampler and I am delighted by the speed of delivery of this linen and also the lovely manner of the staff when I phoned with an enquiry. Thank you!
